Ultimate Uberhood

This round will be very busy at the maternity with 4 pregnant Sims in the neighborhood!

But first, let’s meet the midwife : Katara Waterson

Katara has already delivered 4 babies since she arrived in Simmerley, last Summer.

Despite her current face, she is excited to help deliver many more!

Day 5, Sunday (Winter)

Sara Rockbell is the first one to arrive at the maternity.

Since her due date was growing close, she had to be admitted on the last day of Winter, while everyone else is celebrating New Year’s Eve.

Katara does her first check up

The baby should arrive during the night!

Sara and Katara keeps each other company during the day

Finally, Sara is getting ready for the big moment!

While she was waiting, the clock turned to midnight. Happy new year!

Day 1, Monday

Katara is closely watching over her

And over the baby

And suddenly…

The labour has begun!

(Katara, aren’t you supposed to help instead of hiding behind the monitor?!)

It’s a baby girl!

Isn’t she precious?

Please welcome Winry Rockbell!

Since she was born on the first hours of Spring Day 1, her zodiac sign is Pisces.

Katara takes care of Winry while Sara moves into her room and takes care of herself.

Sara is in awe with her little girl. She can’t wait to introduce her to the rest of the family!

But for now, it is time to welcome the new patients : Ratna Tse, Ty Lee and Sawako Sohma.

Sawako will be the next one to give birth

Ty Lee will be the third

And Ratna is the last one… expecting TWINS!

*faints*

The mothers-to-be are getting to know each other.

Sawako gets her second bump in the middle of the night

Day 2, Tuesday

Those two get along very well

Maybe they should start a young mothers’ club or something

Today is Sara’s baby shower!

Urey is the first one to meet Winry

Next is Kayal

And finally Lidel

He is very excited to be a big brother

(The rest of the guests were there too, they had a great time roaming around the hospital, and couldn’t care less about checking out the baby)

Day 3, Wednesday

While I wasn’t looking, Phoenix Wright was strolling by the hospital and Ty Lee autonomously went to hit on him.

And now they are in love

I feel like the love triangle between Phoenix Wright, Moana and Ty Lee is getting even more complicated…

Today was very quiet so I didn’t take much pictures

But tonight, Sawako is headed to the delivery room

Sawako is quite nervous to be having her first child, but fortunately Katara is here to answer all of her questions

Everything is fine

Day 4, Thursday

And in the wee hours of the morning

Labour begins!

It’s a girl!

Her name is Yui Sohma and she is a Taurus just like her daddy!

Katara barely has time to clean up the room and grab a cup of coffee before it is Ty Lee’s turn!

Despite the long hours, her enthusiasm remains intact

However, Ty Lee doesn’t really appreciate it

She prefers to take a quick nap instead of pointless small talk

But the pain soon wakes her up

I’ll never get tired of this cutscene :3

It’s a boy! With piercing grey eyes and black hair just like his dad

Ty Lee decided to name him Zhu

He is also a Taurus

Ty Lee is not sure whether she’ll be a good mother

She wasn’t planning on having a kid, especially so young, but she will try to figure it out

But just as she was trying to get to her room, the elevator broke down on her

Poor Ty Lee!

Since Katara had to rest after her all-nighter, Sara Rockbell kindly offered to help with the repairs

(She needs to max out her mechanical skills anyway)

Tonight, we are back at it again with Ratna!

Ratna is so over her pregnancy

She just crashed in the seat from exhaustion

Here it comes!

Katara tries to demonstrate her a breathing technique to ease the pain

But Ratna doesn’t even hear her

Baby #1 is a boy!

Here comes baby #2 !

(You know, I placed a bassinet in the room, and I have her locked in with Katara precisely to avoid the scenario where a baby needs to end up on the floor, but Sims gotta be Sims I guess…)

Baby 2 is a boy too!

Ratna names her two princes Nick and Leonardo

And since we are still on Day 4, they are also Taurus

(Talk about a baby boom, everyone gave birth on the same day!)

Day 5, Friday

Today is visit day!

Family and friends were all invited.

Momiji Sohma is the first one to arrive.

He is so happy to see his wife

They just got married after all

And he meets baby Yui

Meanwhile, in the opposite room, Phoenix Wright also meets his baby

That gaze ❤

The color coordination is so satisfying

Phoenix spends a little time with Ty Lee, while Zhu is sleeping

But Moana (who was here to visit Ratna) had to remind them of her presence

So, Phoenix Wright already has two baby mamas, he is in love with both of them, and they are both accepting it without any hint of jealousy.

I guess they are all in some sort of open relationship, but it is weirding me out a bit.

I don’t know what to do with them!

And with this dilemma, we conclude our round at the maternity

Next we will play with the founder’s family, the Nooks

(I played with this lot first because I was so eager to see the babies, but then I realized that it would have made more sense to play it last in the rotation. Now, you will have to ignore all the time paradoxes when the women roam around the neighbourhood at a time where they should still have been pregnant. Oh well, I’ll be more careful next time!)
