Ultimate Uberhood

Welcome to SimCity’s Fire Station.

I took some inspiration from Pinterest, and I think it turned out quite nice.

Although, it was a pain to add all the cornices around the building.

There is also a spot for fire safety training.

Upstairs is the firefighter’s quarters where they can rest and relax while waiting for the next call.

The fire trucks.

Using Targa’s invisible elevator, I created these « functional » poles. The issue is the Sims will also use them to go up 😂

Originally, I had planned on adding a custom careers to make playables firefighters, but ultimately I decided against it.

Unlike the police career, there is no way to have the playables go extinguish fires around the hood, so I feared the gameplay would be a bit limited. Right now, the only thing they can do is workout and sell fire alarms, which is not the most exciting. Plus, there are already 25 careers in this game, so I’d rather play with them first before adding new ones.

But I already built the lot so I am keeping it. Besides, I might change my mind in the future, who knows.
