I thought I had taken a picture of the loading screen, but turns out I didn’t. Sorry!
Here is a quick recap of the Winter season at the Caragne’s.
Rowan and Olivia kept being an all lovey-dovey couple. Olivia left her position at the primary school to teach at the town’s new High school, while Rowan has been promoted Assistant Fire Chief.
Mila, now a young adult, started teaching at the primary school, and she is very passionate about her new job. She also took advantage of Winter’s Eve to get closer to Hiccup Stoickson, the new owner of the pet rescue center. The two are now very in love and engaged. Their wedding is set to Spring, Day 2 during Hiccup’s round.
Arya found herself slipping at school, but she couldn’t care less.
Erwan fell in love with Violet Beaudelaire, who lives at the orphanage. They shared their first kiss and woohooed for the first time in his parents’ bedroom.
Now, onto Spring!
Day 1, Monday
We start off this round with Erwan randomly standing in the front yard in the middle of the night.
So not only he has the light sleeper trait, but he is also a sleep walker now?!
Olivia can’t stop laughing when Arya tells her about it the next morning.
Rowan has to leave early for work, but he would never pass the door without kissing his wife first.
Those two have been married for a while now, but their flame is not going anywhere.
Mila is playing with the electric car, still in the kitchen since Santa left it there.
She understands now why her siblings have been having so much fun with it!
Soon, it’s time for everyone to go to school. (Yes, even the adults, since Olivia and Mila are teachers).
Moana Motunui politely said hello while she was strolling by during her morning walk.
Arya’s grades continue to slip since last round.
But she doesn’t care the least!
She has never been the type who loves to study. And since there is no university in Simmerley anyway, she doesn’t see the point of running after good grades.
And… this is how this pile of untouched homework was created.
Just a cake would be too plain. As a hopeless romantic, Rowan has a thing for big gestures. Let’s just hope that the Chief will enjoy it.
Okay. But at least everyone had a nice time.
Olivia came back from the High school with her fellow coworker Sawako Sohma, who has just returned from maternity leave.
Mila, is also back with them.
Neighbour and sports fanatic Kayal Rockbell was strolling by and could not resist the call of the basket loop.
As a Knowledge Sim and a bookworm, Mila always loves studying new skill points.
Now she is actually qualified to become a High school teacher, but since no spot is vacant she will no be promoted.
And she loves her kids anyway!
Mila is so absorbed in her reading, she couldn’t be bothered to socialize with Sawako.
Sawako : I’ll just sit there awkwardly, don’t mind me…
Sawako finally renounces on getting acquainted with Mila, so she tries her chance with Arya instead, (but she is also busy playing with her toy car.)
As a welcome gift, Olivia cast a tiny little spell to zap away all of her baby weight.
Bam!
Sawako : Holy crap kittens!
Sawako : Oooh… so tha’ts how she manages to keep such a perfect body!
Kayal is never tired of spreading gossips about his own friends!
The farmer’s daughter Serena Smith is the poor victim today.
Kayal : You know how Serena loves to act as the perfect student, right? Well, don’t get fooled, when we were kids she only had Ds! Every day!
Sawako : You shouldn’t make fun of her like that, Serena is a very promising student. She told me she wanted to work in the politics later. You should all be inspired by her ambition.
Arya : Yikes…
Sawako wins over Kayal by steering the conversation into his favourite topic.
Sorry Arya, it looks like your friend has been stolen.
Rowan is back from a long day at work.
But he doesn’t have much time to stay since he is on duty tonight at the fire station.
Here comes the fire station!
Let’s have a quick tour of the place.
The main entrance
On the left is a shop where visitor can buy various smoke detectors to equip their homes.
It’s not the most visually pleasing store, but the safety of Simmerley’s residents is more important.
In the restricted area is the firefighters’ common room.
Being a firefighter can be very stressful, so everything is made to make the firestation as comfortable as possible.
Training equipment is also available in the backyard.
The station has two dormitories, one for males and one for females.
Each off them is connected to a bathroom.
And let’s not forget the main attraction of the place: the firetrucks!

The night will be long!
Rowan uses his time to brush up his skills. He may have been promoted recently, but his eyes are already set on the next level.
Meanwhile at home, everyone is enjoying a nice mac’n’cheese dinner.
Sawako and Kayal ended up staying too.
After everybody leaves / goes to bed, Arya makes a very special phone call.
It’s time to sneak out with her BFF Serena!
Being a neutral witch, Arya is able to use her mom’s magic chair, instead of actually having to go to bed and sleep like a mere mortal.
Arya always had conflicted feelings about her powers, but this is rather convenient…
Here comes Serena, with the miraculous yellow car!
Serena : Hurry up already!
But the night out was cut short when the girls got caught by the police.
Arya is forcefully brought home by patrol officer Emmy Chen.
Even though she gets a bad rep for being the Debbie-downer that always breaks up nice parties, Emmy actually has a soft side to her. She juste takes her job very seriously.
Emmy: I know that you are young, and you want to have fun, but look at all the trouble you are causing. I can let it pass for this time, if you promise me to be more responsible from now on.
Arya is feeling so humiliated. She can’t even argue against the officer.
She will remember that night for sure, but not in the way she intended.
Arya can’t even bear to look at her reflection right now.
Olivia is very disappointed with Arya. She just doesn’t understand what is going on in that kid’s head. Neither of her siblings gave her as much trouble!
Olivia: It seems like you have been enjoying way too much freedom for far too long. I thought you were sensible enough to make the right decisions for yourself, but you’re not. You are grounded, Arya. And you’d better start working on your grades too.
Arya: I’m so sorry, I didn’t think things could get that far. I feel horrible!
Olivia: Take it as a good lesson then.
Arya did not take her mother’s words lightly and immediately attacked her pile of homework.
Day 2, Tuesday
Rowan finishes his long night at the fire station and fixes a quick breakfast.
It’s time for his one and only coworker to turn in.
Meet Madeleine Langerak (she is the firefighter NPC)
She comes in to greet her boss.
But since there is nothing much to do, she heads out for a good work out session.
Rowan is exhausted after staying up all night, so he goes for a nap.
It feels quite lonely to sleep in a single bed without his wife, but that’ll have to do.
Look at those muscles!
Rowan just slept a few hours but he feels rejuvenated enough.
He always takes time to build good relations with his crew (even if it’s just a one-woman crew so far)
Rowan: So, what have you been up to lately Madeleine? Any news?
He also makes time for stress relief activities
I’m glad that you’re having so much fun
But soon it’s time to finish the day and return home.
Meanwhile, at home, all the attention was focused on little-miss-drama Arya, when suddenly…
WHAT?!
Mila is so skinny that her baby bump is barely visible.
Anyway, it looks like the wedding with Hiccup will have to be postponed!
(Also, yes that’s her face as a teenager in the corner. I’m not crying… you’re crying!)
And of course, the first person to hear the news is her mother
Olivia is so happy! She’s going to be a grand-mother!
Mila is relieved, she was afraid of her mom not taking the news so well.
But she had worried for nothing, Olivia is super excited
Too excited perhaps?
She even gave her the maternity jumpsuit she had when she was expecting Arya and Erwan.
(I’m not crying…you’re crying!)
After everyone leaves for school, Mila immediately calls up Hiccup Stoickson.
Mila: Hey babe, could you please come by? There’s something I need to show you.
Mila knows that Hiccup is a Family Sim, he will be thrilled to learn the good news!
She can’t wait to see the look on his face.
But… the pregnancy hormones are no joke. As soon as Hiccup shows up, Mila can’t help but jump at him.
It’s a good thing that they have curtains in the living room.
Hiccup is stunned by Mila’s beauty.
And he’s been dreaming about having a baby with her!

As a true gamer, Arya cannot let this opportunity slip. Plus aren’t games a sort of universal language?
Oh no, that’s not good…

An F?! She’d better start working on those homework immediately.
As always Erwan comes home with his BFF, Kayal.
Mila is still feeling depressed about her situation.
Noone invited her but Serena Smith autonomously decided to drop by.
And make herself at home.
Now that she’s eating for two, Mila is constantly hungry.
But her mind is still stuck on that morning kiss.
Olivia is back from work.
Hiccup cannot stop complimenting Mila on her pregnancy glow. He used to think that it was just a myth, but she does look radiant.
Mila loves him so much!
Noone heard Rowan come home admist all this agitation.
The first thing he does is lecture Arya, of course.
Rowan: You will not get out of this house until you get decent grades. Understood?
And the second thing he does is to congratulate Mila.
He is already crazy over his future grand-child.
And tonight he has the joy of getting to sleep with his wife.
Erwan is up again in the middle of the night.
There is nothing like a midnight snack!
If his mom was awake she would never have let him eat this kind of junk food.
But… she is asleep mwa ha ha ha !
Day 3, Wednesday
Mila may be forced to stay at home due to her pregnancy but…
Do not expect her to quietly sit still. It’s been ages since she didn’t have time to shoot loops in the front yard.
Soon it’s time for the twins to come back home.
This car is really addictive!
Arya has really worked her way through the homework pile.
And yes, those notebooks are from primary school. It’s been a very long time since she stopped doing her homework…
Mila may be a little genius but she desperately needs more practice when it comes to cooking. So after checking up a new recipe, she decides to try it out.
Who knew that chopping vegetables would actually be so tricky?
It’s a success!
The stove did not catch on fire, and the spaghetti look perfect. Yum!
Erwan has a hard time processing that he will become an uncle very soon.
But he finds it very exciting.
But it wasn’t long until Mila challenged him to play football.
Meanwhile, Olivia and Rowan are getting ready for another kind of game.
Olivia’s sparkling aura always sets the mood.
Let’s give the parents some privacy.
Back inside, Mila tries to have a little conversation with Arya.
Mila: You know when I was your age, I always was one of the top student. So if you need any help, don’t hesitate to ask.
Arya: I remember that, how did you get the patience to study so much?
Suddenly, Mila feels a weird but familiar feeling in her stomach.

Day 4, Thursday
The pregnancy is starting to drain Mila’s energy.
Rowan has a day off today!
He spends the morning brushing up on his creativity skills.
Today, the midwife Karata Waterson has come to visit. Rowan shows her the way to Mila’s room.
It’s not that he finds Katara attractive, but she has the same hair color has his wife. And thinking about his wife makes him think of other things…
Since the maternity is completely full at the moment, Mila will have to give birth at home. But Katara will be here to ensure that everything goes smoothly.
Time for a pregnancy scan.
She’s expecting one baby!
The due date should be between Friday night and Saturday morning.
Since Katara is here, Mila can ask her all of the questions that torment her mind.
Katara is very good at easing a pregnant woman’s worry.
Arya’s progress is slow but at least she’s on the right track.
Erwan is back home, with Kayal as always!
Erwan’s heartthrob, Violet Beaudelaire calls to ask an important question to Olivia
Violet is actually the kind of student who constantly worries about homework and keeps harrassing all of her teachers.
Olivia has to reassure her that she understood the exercise just fine.
Meanwhile, the teens are making a mess in the kitchen.
Rowan finished his painting.
Since it matches so well with the color scheme of the house, he decided to frame it and keep it.
High school principal Sue Sylvester is jogging around the neighbourhood again collecting newspapers as she goes…
Rowan and Olivia may soon become grand-parents, but they still act like newly weds.
Kayal just loves being here. There is a special atmosphere here that he does not find in his house.
And his parents are no way nearly as cool as Rowan and Olivia.
Day 5, Friday
Mila wakes up a bit anxious to what should be her very last day of pregnancy.
Rowan and Olivia always cuddle in bed before starting off their respective days.
Instead of worrying alone in her room, Mila sneaks into the room next door to greet the twins.
And for some reason Olivia and Rowan came in too. Let’s call it an impromptu family reunion.
Erwan: I know I’ve never told you this, but I think it’s super cool that you’re a witch like Mom.
Arya: Wow…Really?
But Arya prefers to dodge the subject with a good old pillow fight.
Then it’s time for a nice family breakfast, before everyone heads out for the day.
Violet heard about Mila’s pregnancy and wanted to congratulate her.
Mila: Who are you again? Erwan’s friend?
Mila: Oh yes! We’ll throw a big party when the baby is born!
Mila: That would make a lot of fun memories.
Rowan doesn’t work today either, so he can enjoy a little chess game with his eldest daughter.
As per usual.
Arya also came home with a friend!
But wait a minute, Violet is not Arya’s friend!
Aren’t you here to see someone else young lady ?
And Erwan is already waiting!
Arya was just covering up for them!
As always, Kayal is playing basketball, although it looks like the infamous Mr. Boots would like to participate.
Mr Boots: C’mon, throw me the ball hooman!
Olivia is back from work.
Mila. You are pregnant!
Olivia wants to go shopping to buy new clothes for the family.
She lands at the Asami and Kinuyo’s shop.
The store looks quite busy today.
Olivia doesn’t waste much time. She makes her choice and heads for the cash register.
Back at home, Erwan and Violet are still all over each other.
Olivia bought a new top for Arya, she’s not sure if she likes it yet.
Tonight, Mila invites Hiccup to spend the night over.
She wants him to be around when the baby finally arrives.
Hiccup wastes no time coming over.
He ends up having to share dinner with Rowan.
They are both a bit tense, they don’t know each other so well after all.

Katara has also arrived to check on the mother-to-be.
She knows how to put Mila at ease by discussing the laiest game on the sports channel.
And it works!
Katara also keeps an eye on the monitor, but there is nothing to worry about. The baby should arrive around the crack of dawn.
Katara: And what about the father? He is the young man waiting in the living room?
Mila: Yes, he my fiancé. He actually proposed to me during a date at his place, he had cooked us a nice dinner and everyting.
Katara: Oh that’s such a romantic story!
But soon the conversation is cut short by the first contractions!
Is it a boy or a girl?

It’s a boy!
Mila and Hiccup decide to name him Dean.
Katara may have seen a lot of babies being born, but it never gets old to her.

Hiccup rushes in to meet his little boy.

But we have to interrupt the cuteness overload for a special visitor.

Anyway, back to the serious business!
Mila lays down Dean to rest, even though she wished she could cuddle him all day long.
Hiccup doesn’t forget to thank Katara for her assistance.
Olivia is so happy about her grand-son, she feels like a fairy grand-mother!
And on that note, we wrap the Spring round at the Caragne’s.
