After a very hectic Winter season, it’s time to come back to our little orphans.
This year will be exciting with all the birthdays coming up, but for now this should be a « quiet » round.
I mean, as quiet as a house full of children can be…
Day 1, Monday
It’s a new year and a new day at the orphanage.
Everyone is up
And the first thing to do before school is play of course!
Elsa practices her throwing skills with Harry
Bruce may be a walking bottle of angst, but he is actually very nice with the toddlers
The older kids soon leave for school.
Anna and Sunny occupy themselves with their toys.
Miss Peregrine can finally enjoy some quiet time with a hot cup of coffee.
Aaah
But she is soon interrupted by Bruce, coming home with super grades!
As for Violet…
Let’s not talk about it.
Well, it’s true that she has something else on her mind at the moment…
But Violet has always been a good student all of her life. She cannot accept to stay like this, so she ask Miss Peregrine for a little tutoring help.
They get to it right away, before the younglings come back from school
Klaus is a too nice tempered kid to choose something as violent as dodgeball. He goes for kickball, without hesitation.
Yay! As if this house didn’t have enough kids running around already!
Nevermind.
Lidel Rockbell and Tom Nook get along pretty with their classmates.
Sunny finally learned to walk! Yay!
Day 2, Tuesday
Bruce does have a soft spot for Anna
He caught her right before she could wake up Miss Peregrine.
Elsa didn’t have time to complete her homework last night, so she has to finish up before leaving for school
I know, I know… It feels like torture
When the children leave, Miss Peregrine can tidy up the house
The tutoring session already starts to pay off, it seems
How suprising?!
Tom Nook is here again
Elsa also invited his brother, Ted Nook
And they are besties now ^.^
It’s all fun and games until suddenly….
Since the kids can’t stay hungry all night, Miss Peregrine has to take a trip to the grocery store for an emergency refill
Fresh zucchinis will make an awesome comfort soup
Miss Peregrine quickly makes her choice and goes to pay the town’s farmer, Makoata Smith.
Erwan Caragne (Violet’s boyfriend) is also passing by, but he looks like he forgot what he was supposed to buy…
The fridge is restocked!
Fortunately, Violet was here to make sure that the young ones went to bed on time.
Day 3, Wednesday
For some reason, I didn’t take any pictures on that day.
Nothing really special happened, I guess.
Day 4, Thursday
Miss Peregrine wakes up feeling tired, but she has to do her job.
Bruce is on a roll this week with all of his straight As.
After all, he had plenty of time getting ahead during all of those detention hours.
Violet came home with Kayal Rockbell today!
But the reason why Kayal accepted to come in the first place can be summed up by one word.
PLAYGROUND!
Bruce found another way to relieve his stress…
Aggressive football!
Ouch!
Violet is angry at herself for not seeing this coming.
But he seemed so nice when he politely asked her to play!
She retreats back to her room, to work on her homework.
Her young sister Sunny is here to cheer her!
The kids are home, with the usual suspects
Kayal is having the time of his life of the spinning thingy
And of course, hyperactive Harry joined him
They couldn’t care less about the rain!
Wheeeee!
Lidel, his little brother, and Tom Nook are playing a much more civilised game.
Everyone joins in for dinner
Salmon is on the menu tonight, accompanied by the fresh organic zucchinis
Elsa skipped dinner since she was not hungry.
As a true loner, she always has the most fun when she plays by herself.
Day 5, Friday
Everyone woke up to a very playful mood today
Maybe it’s the full moon in the Sims world, or something like that…
Klaus and Elsa are gossiping in the bathroom about the school director.
What ? What did poor Ms Blanchard do?
During the day, Miss Peregrine had a chat with High school teacher Momiji Sohma, about Violet’s situation.
He is sure that it’s only a mishap, Violet is a serious student she should get back on her feet quickly.
Violet is sick of Bruce’s severe lack of manner, so she decided to give him a taste of his own medicine.
Bruce is utterly shocked!
He doesn’t know what is worse: the fact that someone dared to use his own technique against him and it actually HURTS, or the fact that the always-kind-Violet had the gut to fight back.
On that delightful note, we wrap up Spring at the orphanage. Next, we will visit the Guest House.

Playing this lot is really hard, especially doing the homework thing everynight. That’s I tend to burn out and forget to take pictures as the days go by. I can’t wait for the younger kids to grow up! The first one will be a boy born in the middle of Summer (he is a Leo), can you guess who it is ?
